Asia’s most fun experiential shopping mall Taroko Caoya Road Kaohsiung Groundbreaking!
Taroko Development joined hands with Gao Shi Government and Gao Jie to create a new international landmark to drive the tourism industry in South Kaohsiung

This development project is the land lease agreement of Gaojie South Machine Factory jointly signed by Taroko Development and Kaohsiung Municipal Government and Kaohsiung MRT Company, and the strategic alliance between Taroko Development and Japan’s Suzuka Circuit Park to build Asia’s most fun “experiential shopping center” – “Taroko Caoya Road” next to Kaohsiung MRT Station R4A, which is not only the largest base development project next to the MRT station in Taiwan, but also will become a new landmark of Kaohsiung tourism in the future, and is estimated to attract more than 12 million people to visit Caoya Road every year in the future. It will bring consumers an international level and a new shopping experience!
The base covers an area of 8.7 hectares, the largest base development project next to the MRT station in Taiwan!
The construction base of “Taroko Caoya Road” is located in the MRT South Machinery Factory in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City, with a land area of 8.7 hectares (26,400 pyeong), of which 1/3 is the area of Suzuka Circuit Park, the remaining 2/3 is the area of shopping center, and the floor area of the commercial building is about 33,000 pyeong, which will have three floors above ground and one floor underground, and create a spacious and comfortable space in a low-density manner.
“Taroko Caoya Road” investment of more than NT$ 4 billion, the estimated construction period is 18 months, the target is officially completed in December 2015 and start operation, will be stationed in 250~280 stores, the current investment progress has exceeded 50%, locked in the import of American popular leisure, fast fashion, life 3C, sports and outdoor leisure and other industries, the development of the most advantageous commodity portfolio of Caoya Road.
