Taroko Group invested NTD 1 billion in Hsinchu City to establish the first large-scale complex sports and leisure venue “Taroko Square (Hsinchu)”, which is expected to open on June 27 and will be put into trial operation from May 11, and 80 brand manufacturers such as sports, leisure, entertainment and catering are expected to enter the market.

Hsinchu Mayor Lin Zhijian said that Hsinchu City has a science park and 5 universities, creating a unique city DNA, including high education, high income, high birth rate and the lowest average age, due to stable employment opportunities, creating high consumption power of citizens and friends, the “average household consumption expenditure” of Hsinchu City in 2016 years was as high as NTD 1.049 million, the highest in Taiwan. Hsinchu City’s consumption power ranks among the best in the country, which greatly enhances the willingness of enterprises to invest, and the municipal government will actively assist manufacturers to promote local prosperity and increase employment opportunities.

Mayor Lin Zhijian said that in the past year, 924 companies and 1,410 businesses were established in Hsinchu City, an increase of 26.5% and 12% respectively compared with 105 years. Mackay Hospital invests in children’s hospitals to promote participation in cases, etc.

Wu Jiatian, Director of the Department of Production and Development of Hsinchu Municipal Government, said that the Taroko Plaza, which was jointly invested by the Daluge shopping mall business and RT-Mart circulation business, with an investment of about NTD 1 billion, provided about 550 employment opportunities, created 4 floors above ground and 1 floor underground, and about 80 manufacturers of various brands were stationed.

Wu Jiatian said that Taroko Square (Hsinchu) combines sports, leisure, entertainment and catering, with the core concept of “experiential community economy”, not only baseball and softball playing courts, indoor basketball courts, fitness centers, children’s skating rinks, but also a variety of sports outdoor goods, 3C, leisure clothing, etc., providing people with diversified and innovative sports experience and new experience, and will also drive the prosperity and development of local commerce.

Wu Jiatian pointed out that in order to avoid traffic jams during the trial operation of Taroko Square (Hsinchu), in addition to the store itself to provide 385 grids of passenger cars and 500 grids of locomotive parking, the adjacent Shulin Tou parking lot will also provide 382 parking spaces, from 11 am to 10 pm from today’s trial operation, from the Shulintou parking lot to the store, to avoid vehicle congestion caused by full space.

In addition, along the intersection of Lane 196 of Wuling Road, there will also be assistance in guiding and controlling the entry and exit of vehicles, and the police will also use mobile personnel to assist in persuading them to drive away illegally parked vehicles, so as to maintain smooth traffic with clearance vehicles.
