Taroko ventured into Hong Kong-style tea drinking2013-07-26 Taroko (1432) ventured into the catering market, cross-industry alliance network highly popular Hong Kong-style tea drinking restaurant – Star on the Star, the first store entered the Hsinchu Far East Great City Shopping Center, yesterday (25th) held an opening public welfare donation activity to give back to the society. Cai Mingzhang, chairman of Taroko Development, said that next year, the restaurant will be expanded to Suzhou and Shandong University Town on the mainland.
The board of directors of Taroko issued 40 million new shares with a nominal value of NT$ 10 per share and a total capital increase of NT$ 400 million. The board of directors of Taroko resolved to increase the capital of Taroko Development Company, which is 100% owned, by NT$ 800 million.
Lin Qinghua, chief financial officer of Taroko, said yesterday that the funds raised by the current increase of Taroko are to be used to increase investment in the development of Taroko.
